UAVs Poseidon
Let’s talk about UAVs that our legion actively uses in its work. Today, we’ll delve into Poseidon.
The reconnaissance UAV for vertical takeoff and landing, H10 Poseidon, is classified as a medium-range device, providing mobility during reconnaissance operations. It can be transported on an off-road vehicle or pickup and prepared for operation in less than 10 minutes.
The combat drone H10 “Poseidon” is designed in the form factor of a monocoque high-wing aircraft with an electric motor and a pusher propeller, as well as four stationary electric motors and propellers for vertical takeoff and landing. According to the developers, such a design has a significant advantage in terms of flight safety, as the vertical takeoff and landing engine is used not only for takeoff, landing, and hovering but also for the emergency rescue of the device (instead of an emergency parachute).
H10 Poseidon can operate even when satellite communication is unavailable, has a very low acoustic signature in cruising flight, an extremely small directionality diagram, and the absence of a thermal signature, making it an ideal tool for covert operations. In other words, it is invisible to radars and thermal imagers.
